Young Architect of the Year Awards 2011
THE ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION
Exhibition design, 2011

Design for the Young Architect of the Year Awards at the Architecture Foundation in collaboration with Moxon Architects. Moxon devised a structure for the exhibition on which a long banner would be installed. The banner contains a single drawing spanning the length of the room, twisting around the structural poles and existing architectural elements. This drawing collates the footprints of the nominated projects for each practice into an architectural "landscape" around which images and supporting texts are arranged. The floating structure created new enclosed spaces in the room, within which the work of the six shortlisted practices was displayed, a collection of objects and models related to their project.
