ANCHORAGE
Typeface, 2012
A near-monospace near-monolinear typeface that has the uniformity of a typewriter font but a more condensed width making it suitable for longer texts. A redraw of existing sans serif monospace fonts, but the I, J and L were narrowed to break the grid. The letterforms borrow from late 19th Century grotesque typefaces to give warmth and character to the font while retaining a clean and neutral overall appearance.
