A New Concise Reference Dictionary
Publication, 2014
A book compiling Neal Brown's serialised dictionary which originally appeared one letter every month in Art Review magazine. Working closely with the writer we devised a language for the dictionary to give the text its own entity, having previously lived only through Art Review's various designs over the years. The result is a book that on the surface appears to be a regular pocket dictionary, a plain but playful cover to balance the humorous, sometimes irreverent nature of the writing inside.
